Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Central New Jersey

winter advisory Jan 23 2015The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a winter weather advisory for New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. The weather advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.

Snow is expected to start between 9 p.m. and  midnight tonight and change to freezing rain between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.

About one to three inches of snow are expected for the Princeton area, along with ice. Snow, rain and mixed precipitation Friday and Saturday may lead to slick and snow-covered roads Saturday morning.

In Princeton, PAWS Tiger Cub Wrestling is cancelled for Saturday. All Dillon youth basketball league games sponsored by the Princeton Recreation Department are also cancelled.

The SAT scheduled to be given at Princeton High School Saturday morning has been postponed until Feb. 7.

8:15 am Prana Yoga and 8:30 am Hot Yoga cancelled at Princeton Center for Yoga and Health.
