A Princeton House employee has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient.

Jonathan D. Hodges, age 36, of Trenton, is charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault. He is free on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Princeton Municipal Court on February 9.

A 34-year-old female reported on Jan. 28 that prior to being discharged as a patient at Princeton House that morning, an employee came into her room, pushed himself against her, put his hand inside of her pants and underwear, and sexually assaulted her.

An investigation ensued and the victim identified Hodges, a mental health associate, as the suspect. Video surveillance from Princeton House was viewed and Hodges can be seen entering the victim’s room several times during a 14-minute period, staying various lengths of time.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the case should contact Detective Marlon Webb of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit at (609) 989-6568 or Princeton Detective Annette Henderson at (609) 921-2100.
