Princeton Police: Attacker with Knife Knew Victim

princetonpolice_2Princeton Police are still searching for the man who attacked another man with a large knife on March 27 on Berrien Court in downtown Princeton.

The attacker and victim knew each other and the attack was the result of an argument between the two, police said. Arrest warrants have been issued for the alleged attacker, Jose Lino Lopez-Segura, 51.  More information will be released when it becomes available and does not hamper the investigation, police said.

The victim, who is in his early 40s, suffered facial lacerations after being assaulted on a Friday night in the Witherspoon neighborhood near the La Mexicana eatery. He was transported to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro for treatment.

Planet Princeton is not releasing the name of the victim per police request for the victim’s safety.
