Kingston Man Injured in Hit and Run Near Main Street Sunday Night

Franklin policePolice in Franklin Township are asking for the public’s help locating a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a Kingston man on Sunday, May 31 at about 10:30 p.m.

The victim, age 41, was riding a bicycle on Laurel Avenue heading toward Route 27 when he was hit from behind, police said. Police received a 911 call and found the man on the side of the road. The victim has a serious head injury.

Police said the car that struck the man is red or burgundy, and would have damage to the front end or front passenger side, and may be red or burgundy. The car was last seen traveling from Laurel Avenue to Route 27.
