Lawrence Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects in Home Invasion
The Lawrence Township Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance identifying two suspects involved in a home
invasion incident that occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 12, just before midnight in the area of building three and six of the Avalon Run Apartment complex.
The suspects entered the victim’s first floor apartment via an unlocked sliding door and held him at knifepoint while they ransacked the residence. The victim was later forced from his residence into his own vehicle and taken to two local ATM machines, where he was forced to withdraw money.
The victim, who is in his early 30s, was then driven to Trenton, where he was released. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
Suspect one (pictured) is described as a black male age 20 to 30. He is about six feet tall with a lean build, curly or afro style hair, a mustache, and longer, pointy goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt with “Wimbledon” written across the chest in white lettering and was wearing jeans.
Suspect two was described as a black male age 20 to 30. He is about
5’8” to 5’10” with a medium build and a close-cut hair style. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and cargo style shorts.
