Missing Senior in Lawrence Located (Updated)
A 73-year-old blind man with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing from Lawrence Square Village yesterday afternoon was found in a wooded area at the apartment complex almost 24 hours later.
Roland Acceus, who disappeared just after 2 p.m. Thursday, was found this afternoon. He was located in the wooded area of Lawrence Square Village during a second search of the area. He was conscious and alert but was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Hamilton as a precaution, police said.
The Lawrence Township Police Department thanked the Lawrence Township Fire Department , Lawrence Road Station 22, New Jersey State Police Aviation and Missing Person unit, the Mercer County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, the NJ Transit Hamilton station bus unit, an the media for their assistance helping to locate Acceus.
