Princeton University tonight received a bomb and firearm threat that made reference to the student protest on campus, Princeton University Department of Public Safety officials said in a warning issued to the campus community.
In response to the threat, which officials said was received in an email, the public safety department is increasing campus patrols and conducting an investigation in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies.
School officials urged students, faculty and staff to be vigilant, to not leave personal items unattended, and to check their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the Princeton University Department of Public Safety at (609) 258-3333 or the Princeton Police Department at 911.
