Manville Senior Killed in Route 206 Crash This Week

A Manville man was killed and U.S. Highway Route 206 was shut down Monday for a period of time because of a two-vehicle crash during the evening rush hour.
The Montgomery Township Police Department received a 911 call at 5:34 p.m. Feb. 15 reporting a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 206 near Montgomery Road. The initial investigation revealed a 2003 Toyota Camry operated by Eugene Corbesero, 82, of Manville was traveling northbound on Route 206. The vehicle crossed the center line, into the southbound lane impacting a 2014 Western Tractor Trailer.

Corbesero was transported to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. The passenger of the vehicle Deshon Corbesero, 28, of Manville, was also transported to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick where he was treated for serious injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer Valentin Drobakha, 56, of Fairless Hills, PA, was uninjured.
Officers at the scene were assisted by the Montgomery Township Fire Co. No. 1 & Co. No. 2, Rocky Hill Fire Dept., Montgomery Township EMS Squad 47, and Robert Wood Johnson Paramedics.

The crash is being investigated by the Montgomery Township Police Department. Any witnesses are asked to contact Officer Joe Zizwarek MTPD at 908-359-3222, ext. 160.
