Kohl’s Plans to Close West Windsor Store on Route 1 South
Kohl’s has announced that is will close 18 “under-performing” stores across the country, including the West Windsor store at Nassau Park just off Route 1 South.
The West Windsor Kohl’s is the only store the company is closing in New Jersey. The other closures are in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
All of the sales people at the stores that are being closed will be offered jobs at a nearby Kohl’s, or can choose a severance package. On average, Kohl’s stores employ approximately 80 to 100 associates per store.
The West Windsor store is slated to close by June 19. Kohl’s has more than 36 stores in New Jersey. The other stores near Princeton are located in Hillsborough, Flemington, and Hamilton. For a full list and map, visit the Kohl’s website. There is also a Kohl’s near the Oxford Valley Mall in Pennsylvania.
