
The Princeton Varsity Club, the booster club for Princeton University sports, is hosting women’s soccer greats Julie Foudy and Kristine Lilly at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 in McCosh 50.
Foudy and Lilly, two of the greatest players in U.S. women’s soccer history, are both two-time World Cup soccer champions (1991 and 1999) and two-time Olympic gold medalists (1996 and 2004).

Lilly currently runs the Kristine Lilly Soccer Academy and the Team First Soccer Academy with former teammates Mia Hamm and Tisha Venturini-Hoch. She also serves as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Texas. Foudy currently works for ESPN as a features reporter and soccer analyst. She also founded The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy for girls ages 12-18.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature opening remarks from both speakers, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Princeton University Director of Athletics Mollie Marcoux. The discussion will be followed by a question and answer session. The event is part of the Jake McCandless ’51 Princeton Varsity Club Speaker Series.
