Two Vehicles Stolen from Princeton Residence
A resident on the first block of Elm Lane in Princeton woke up Tuesday morning and left her home to head to New York for a cancer treatment, only to find that her family’s vehicles were gone.
Two vehicles were stolen from the driveway of the residence some time between midnight and 6 a.m. on May 17. A 2015 Mercedes Benz GL 450 and a 2015 Dodge Durango were both stolen. The total value of both vehicles is approximately $110,000, police said.
The incident is similar to other vehicle thefts that have taken place across the state and in Pennsylvania, police said. It appears as though high end vehicles are targeted during the early morning hours. The suspects look for vehicles that are left unlocked. The majority of vehicles stolen are push button start vehicles.
The case has been turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.
