Princeton Area 9/11 15th Anniversary Events

9/11 St. Paul's
Each flag on the lawn at St. Paul’s in Princeton includes the name of a person who died in the 9/11 attacks.

Franklin Township

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the  municipal complex at 475 Demott Lane.

Hillsborough

Remembrance ceremony at 4 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the Hillsborough Township Volunteer Fire Company #3, Woods Road Firehouse, Memorial Garden, 324 Woods Road.

Hopewell Township

Memorial ceremony, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Woolsey Park, Washington Crossing-Pennington Road.

Lawrence

Remembrance ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Rider University in front of Moore Library. Rider is located on Route 206 south.

Montgomery

Montgomery Fire Company #2 is holding a blood drive from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12. Drop-ins welcome. 529 Route 518, Skillman.

Princeton

St Paul’s Church will host a special memorial service to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the church. For the 15th anniversary of the attacks, church members placed flags on the church lawn for each victim, along with a card listing the name of a person who died.

A service of Remembrance will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the memorial garden at Princeton University. The garden is located between Chancellor Green and Nassau Hall.The ringing of the carillon bells in the Graduate College’s Grover Cleveland Tower will follow at 1 p.m.

South Brunswick

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in front of the municipal building at 540 Ridge Road.

West Windsor

A remembrance ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, in the Ron Rogers Arboretum at Memorial Twin Ponds. Route 571 and Clarksville Road.

Mercer County and Mercer County Community College will hold a ceremony honoring county residents killed in the attacks. The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, at the commemorative garden next to the school’s student center. The college is located at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
