Plans to transform an alley in the heart of downtown Princeton into a creative space are still underway. Organizers are still raising money for the project and hope a fundraiser later this month will help them reach their goal.

Dohm Alley, the 10 foot by 80 foot space between Landau and Starbucks on Nassau Street, will be converted into a sensorium that will feature plants, digital artwork, audio, and video displays.

Aluminum arches for the installation have been built by a Trenton group. The alley will feature galleries with rotating digital art installations. The space will also feature interviews and oral histories in video and podcast form. The project is being sponsored by Princeton Future.

A fundraiser is set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at Nomad Pizza at the Princeton Shopping Center. Tickets to attend the fundraiser are $50. Nomad Pizza is donating the food and CoolVines is donating the wine for the event. The design team will also give a brief presentation about the project.

You can order tickets to the fundraiser online.
