HiTOPS to Offer ‘Open Door’ Gathering for Grieving Princeton Teens Tuesday Afternoon
HiTops, in collaboration with Good Grief, will be hosting an “open door” drop-in gathering from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20 for teens seeking support and a sense of connection after the death of a freshman at Princeton High School last week.
Any teen is welcome to come. There is no mandatory agenda. If a teen would like to talk to someone, people will be there to talk. If teens would like to just be around others feeling the same way, that is fine too, organizers said. Refreshments will be served at the event.
The HiTOPS Teen Education Center is located at 21 Wiggins Street in downtown Princeton.
HiTops is dedicated to adolescent health and well-being, and seeks to provide the community’s young people with the information, tools and resources they need to thrive and grow.
Good Grief is dedicated to the emotional and physical health of children, teens, and families after the death of a loved one, and provides education and support to communities throughout New Jersey.
