Power Outage Affects Almost 1,500 Homes in Princeton

A power line on Snowden Lane came down on Wednesday night just after 6:30 p.m., causing an outage that affected almost 1,500 homes in Princeton. The Riverside neighborhood, Snowden, Terhune, Van Dyke, parts of Hamilton Avenue and other streets were without power for about an hour. Power was restored around 7:30 p.m., more than an hour ahead of PSEG’s estimated restoration time.

Thank you to all the readers who reported the outage and updated Planet Princeton when power was restored.
