NJ Transit Train Service Suspended Between NYC and Trenton
Editor’s Note – As of 5:23 p.m., trains are operating but are delayed and extremely crowded.
Northeast Corridor train service has been suspended between New York and Trenton because of downed wires near Linden, officials said. An estimation of when train service will be restored as not been provided yet. NJ Transit rail tickets and passes are being accepted by NJ Transit buses and private carrier buses. PATH is cross honoring at NJ Transit tickets. Several trains have been cancelled late this afternoon in both directions because of the downed wires.
