Portion of Witherspoon Street to be closed Feb. 16
The southbound lane of Witherspoon Street between Nassau Street and Spring Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, for emergency sewer repairs. The northbound lane will be used for alternating traffic. Should the need arise, officers have been given permission to shut down the southbound lane completely between Nassau Street and Paul Robeson Place and detour southbound traffic if necessary. Please avoid the area if at all possible, police say.
