Update: Bear spotted near Hun School in Princeton on Monday

A black bear has been seen near of Winant Road and the Hun School of Princeton, police said today. The Hun School is not in session.

Patrols are in the area, The bear is likely moving in a southeasterly direction, police said. If the bear happens to visit your yard, please call the police. In the meantime, police are cautioning residents not to leave garbage cans uncovered or food items out overnight. The Princeton Police department also has provided some bear facts for residents here in case you want to know more about black bears.
