The annual Princeton Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5. Registration is still open for the race, and organizers are also seeking volunteers to help run the event.  The half marathon is capped at 1,750 runners. More than 5,000 spectators attend the event that begins and ends in downtown Princeton. The route passes by numerous historic landmarks and neighborhoods.

If you would like to register to run in the half marathon, there is still time to register. Use code PLANET-PRINCETON when you register online here and get $5 off your registration fee before Sept. 30.

Volunteers are needs for various tasks before, during and after the race. Visit the volunteer page for more information. The most critical need is for course marshals. Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well.

HiTOPS is a regional nonprofit that promotes adolescent health and empowerment. The half marathon has raised more than $516,000 to support the organization’s programs.
