Fatality on the Tracks: Train service between New Brunswick and Trenton limited, no stops at Princeton Junction

As of about 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, train service between New Brunswick and Trenton is operating on a limited basis. Trains will not stop at Princeton Junction, according to New Jersey Transit. Readers on southbound trains reported to Planet Princeton that westbound trains are stopping at Princeton Junction as of about 4:40 p.m. The train involved in the trespasser fatality was an eastbound train, readers reported.

Transit officials said there was a trespasser fatality near Princeton Junction. New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor trains are experiencing delays of up to two hours. Rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored on New Jersey Transit, private carrier buses, and PATH.
