Photo: Lewis Center for the Arts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber (orange tie) with members of the Lewis family and other officials, gets ready to cut the ribbon at the new Lewis Center for the Arts (above). Photos by Steven Freeman for the Princeton University Office of Development Communications. About 250 people attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning for the new arts center on Alexander Street. The new center is named in honor of donor Peter Lewis, a member of Princeton’s Class of 1955 and a former Princeton University trustee. The 145,000-square-foot complex on the south edge of campus anchors a 22-acre development that includes two restaurants, a Wawa convenience store, and the new Princeton Dinky train station.
