Photos: Stuart Country Day School Cardboard Challenge
Stuart Country Day School students in junior kindergarten through fourth grade participated in the 6th annual Cardboard Challenge at the Lower School last Friday. Inspired by the short film “Caine’s Arcade,” the girls showcased arcade games of their own creation. After brainstorming ideas and sketching plans with their partners, the girls worked in groups to make an arcade game out of cardboard and recycled materials. The girls invited guests from Hamilton Grove Senior Center, Acorn Glen Senior Center and Visitation Home for Adults with Disabilities to come play the games. The girls adapted their designs for people who may have limited physical abilities.
