4.4 magnitude earthquake hits Dover, Delaware area
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Delaware Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Residents in the Princeton area reported feeling a tremor.
The moderate temblor hit around 4:47 p.m. and was felt across the region. No injuries or damage were immediately reported. The quake was centered about 10 miles from Dover, Delaware.
The U.S. Geological Survey revised the magnitude from 5.1 to 4.4.
