Middlesex County to open drive-thru COVID-19 testing center Wednesday

Middlesex County will open a drive-thru COVID-19 testing center for residents of the county on Wednesday, April 1. The county has the fifth-highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state. The positive cases totaled 1,123 as of Monday, March 30. Municipalities in our coverage area that are located in Mercer County include South Brunswick, Plainsboro, Cranbury, and Monroe.

The Middlesex County testing site will be located at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Kilmer Vehicle Inspection Center, which is located at 33 Kilmer Road in Edison. To make an appointment click HERE. If you need help making an appointment, call 732-745-3100 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Appointments will only be made the day prior to a testing day. You do not need a doctor’s prescription to get tested at the center, but you must be symptomatic. You must bring a printout of your confirmation and display it on your dashboard for each person being tested, and you must show a valid New Jersey ID with your Middlesex County address.

The site will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
