What it will take to do COVID-19 contact tracing

The keys to preventing a second surge of the coronavirus: testing and contact tracing. They’re used to determine who’s COVID-positive, who’s been around them, potentially exposed or even infected.

  1. Wondering when this will start happening, the rallying and recruiting of contact tracers. State? County? The town itself? Asking myself why not even local public discussion? I’ve written or called at all three levels — nothing yet. Probably plenty of volunteers, just the costs of organizing, training.
