Alexander Road resurfacing project slated to begin today in West Windsor
Phase four of the Alexander Road resurfacing project in West Windsor is slated to begin today, May 11, weather permitting.
Meco, Inc. of Clarksburg will begin repair and resurfacing work on Alexander Road between Route 1 and Roszel Road/ The work includes concrete repairs, crosswalk improvements, drainage improvements, and the milling and resurfacing of the roadway and Carnegie Center Drive jughandle.
Weekday hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., traffic in the eastbound direction will be restricted to a minimum of one travel lane within the project area. If travel restrictions are lifted by the governor during the project, the daily start time will be shifted to 9 a.m. It is also possible there will be paving at night, but officials said such work wouls be announced separately.
The project is expected to be completed by June 4, weather permitting.
