Severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 4:30 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex and Bucks counties until at least 4:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly reported that severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Cloverhill to near Pleasant Valley in Pennsylvania just before 4 p.m., moving east at 50 miles per hour.
Winds of 70 miles per hour and penny-sized hail are possible.
Tree damage and power outages have been reported near Allentown. Damage to mobile homes, roofs, and other buildings is possible. Torrential rainfall is also possible, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
