Severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 3:30 p.m. Monday

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the northwestern portion of Mercer County, the southeastern portion of Montgomery County, the southern portion of Hunterdon County, and Central Bucks County until 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6.

As of 2:40 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line in Pennsylvania extending from near Dublin to near Doylestown to Richboro, moving northeast at 15 miles per hour. Wind gusts of 60 miles per hour and quarter-size hail are possible. Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is also possible. Storms could continue in some areas until about 11 p.m.
