Police search Community Park in Princeton for missing senior

Police in Princeton were still searching for a missing 67-year-old resident, Jeffrey Bossart, on Thursday morning.

Officials warned residents that there would be police activity taking part in Community Park North on Thursday. The public has been asked to avoid the park area.

Police said a helicopter would be in the area assisting with the ongoing search. Bossart, who is a Princeton resident, was last seen on foot at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday night in the Bayard Lane area. He had gone out to take a walk. Police describe him as a white male weighing about 200 pounds, and said he is is six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, long pants (possibly jeans), and brown flip-flops.

There is no threat to the public, police said. If you see Bossart, please call the Princeton Police at (609) 921-2100 or call 911.
