Revamped Mercer County Sheriff app features emergency alerts, crime tips, most wanted list, and more

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office has released an updated version of the Mercer County Sheriff App. The app is designed to provide real-time information to the public on smartphones or tablets.

Information on the Mercer County Sheriff’s App includes news and emergency alerts, senior citizen program information, general services to the public, sheriff’s sale information, crime tips, airport information, and the Mercer’s Most Wanted list. 

The Sheriff’s App also includes resources on COVID-19 from the CDC, links to traffic information, program offerings, and a “submit a tip” feature that allows users to confidentially report crime tips directly to the sheriff’s office. The app also includes an interactive map of Mercer County sex offenders. Users can pinpoint a neighborhood for the locations and the identities of sex offenders. 

The free app is available in the Apple and Android app stores. You can also download the app online at apps.myocv.com.
