The deadline to vote in the Nov. 3 general election is today, Oct. 13. Not registered yet or not sure how to confirm that you are registered? You can check and you can register online if you need to do so.
Visit the state’s voter registration search page to confirm that you are properly registered.
You can still register online to vote in New Jersey by visiting the state’s voter registration page. You will need a current driver’s license or non-driver identification card. Your information will be provided to the MVC to validate identification, and to retrieve a copy of your digitized signature. Or you can use your social security number, but you must have the ability to sign on-screen or upload your signature to complete the registration process.
To register to vote in New Jersey, you must be a United States citizen. You must be at least 17 years old to register, but you can’t vote until you are 18. You must also be a resident of the county for 30 days before the election.
