Islamic Society of Central Jersey to host Thanksgiving food drive Saturday

The Islamic Society of Central Jersey in South Brunswick wants to help area residents who have been impacted financially by the pandemic so that they can celebrate Thanksgiving at home with a nice meal.

Turkeys and other food items will be distributed at the Islamic Society’s drive-thru food pantry on Saturday, Nov. 21 from noon to 2 p.m. Visitors also will receive a supplemental food box with basic food staples and supplies.

You must register for the Saturday food drive by emailing foodpantry@iscj.org.

The Islamic Society of Central Jersey is located at 4145 Route 1 South at Promenade Boulevard. All traffic should enter from Promenade Boulevard.

Face masks must be worn when picking up food.
