Mercer County officials have announced that a new pop-up COVID-19 testing location will be open this Friday, Dec. 11 in Hamilton. Testing will be limited to 300 people.

County residents can get a COVID-19 test from 10 am. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Colonial Firehouse, which is located at 801 Kuser Road.

The saliva test is available to Mercer County residents ages 14 and up, as well as healthcare workers and first responders who work in the county.

You must bring identification to the testing site proving your Mercer County residency and a smartphone or tablet if you have one. No prescription is necessary.

Please avoid eating, drinking, chewing gum, or smoking 30 minutes prior to taking the test.

If you can’t make it to the testing site on Dec. 11, you can also get a saliva test on Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CURE Insurance Arena at 81 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton. Use Parking Lot 2 off South Broad Street to access Gate A. Testing will be conducted in the arena concourse.
