Driver in critical condition after veering off of Clarksville Road and crashing into concrete block

Just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, a 48-old Ewing resident was driving his 2009 Honda Accord north on Clasksville Road in West Windsor, just under a mile north of Quakerbridge Road, when he veered off the roadway to the right, drove into a drainage ditch, and struck a concrete hood and two drain pipes.

Police said the Honda flipped onto the passenger side. When police and emergency services personnel arrived on the scene, they found the man entrapped in the Honda and unconscious.

The man was extricated from the Honda and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.  He is listed in critical condition with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Contact West Windsor Officer LaRocca at LaRocca@westwindsorpolice.com or Traffic Sgt. Bal at Bal@westwindsorpolice.com at (609) 799-1222 or call the confidential tip line at (609) 799-0452 if you have information regarding the incident.
