A winter storm watch is in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon for Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, and Bucks counties, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.
Heavy snow is possible, with a total snow accumulation of over five inches predicted. As of 6 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service was predicting six to eight inches of snow for the Princeton region and much of Central New Jersey. Snow is expected to move in overnight Saturday night from southwest to northeast and may fall heavy for a time into Sunday morning before winding down from west to east by the mid to late afternoon.
Travel could be very difficult. Stay home if you can, and be prepared to break out those shovels again.
