Middle school in Princeton evacuated Wednesday morning due to bomb threat
The Princeton Unified Middle School was evacuated on Wednesday morning due to a bomb threat. Students were evacuated as a precaution and are all safe, officials said.
Students were moved to the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center, library, and cafeteria. School officials said buses would be at the high school to help with social distancing and to pick up those students who need a ride home.
Over the past several years, the district has been a victim of swatting calls. The bogus calls, where a caller threatens violance or damage at the schools, are difficult to trace because of the technology callers use. Police still must take precuations and search te schools in such cases to ensure the safety of the students.
