Route 206 paving and milling project in Princeton begins Friday night

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be milling and paving two sections of Route 206 to repair rough road conditions beginning Friday.

The work is slated to begin Friday night, May 21, and end Wednesday, May 26. Work will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night unless weather conditions delay things.

Traffic will alternate lanes during the work, and the NJDOT will handle traffic direction and control, police said.

The two sections of the road to be repaired are Route 206/Bayard Lane from the intersection of Nassau Street north to near the intersection with Mountain Avenue, and a stretch of Route 206 near Arreton Road.

Seek an alternate route during work hours if you can.
