Storm brings power outages and road closures in Princeton area

More than 350 PSE&G customers in the Princeton region were still without power on Wednesday as a result of the storm Tuesday night. Several area roads are also closed due to downed trees, poles and wires.

Herrontown Road is closed from River Road to Snowden Lane.  Quaker Road is closed from Mercer Road to Route 206. Ridgeview Road is impassible.

PSE&G customers in Princeton, Hopewell Township, and Pennington have been told power will be restored by Wednesday evening.

If you lose power and you are a PSE&G customer, Text OUT to 4PSEG (47734) or call 1-800-436-PSEG (7734). Fewer than a dozen JCP&L customers in Mercer County are still without power. Several dozen JCP&L customers in Hunterdon County were still without power on Wednesday morning.
