Portion of Alexander Road to be closed in West Windsor weekdays beginning Friday, Aug. 13
Alexander Road will be closed at Scott Avenue in West Windsor from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays beginning on Friday, Aug. 13 while contractors mill and pave the road, and do crosswalk and road striping.
The project is expected to take five days to complete. During work hours, the construction area will be closed to through traffic and drivers will be detoured onto Princeton-Hightstown Road (CR 571), North Post Road, and Wallace Road. Access to the area will be available for local residents, local businesses, public service vehicles, and emergency vehicles.
In June, the Alexander Road ADA repairs project, between Harris Road and Wallace Road began. The project includes milling, paving, striping, curbing, ADA sidewalk ramp improvements, and crosswalk improvements on Alexander Road from Wallace Road to Harris Road.
