More than 5,000 homes without power in the Princeton region as flooding continues

More than 5,000 PSE&G customers were without power as of Wednesday night due to the storm that has caused flash flooding throughout the Princeton region.

A few hundred homes in Princeton near the Institute for Advanced Study were without power. About 2,000 homes in Plainsboro were without power, while about 1,500 homes in West Windsor and 1,500 homes in Hamilton were without power as of about 9 p.m. Scattered power outages also have been reported in South Brunswick, Trenton, Robbinsville, Pennington, and Hopewell Township.
