Photos: Princeton 9/11 memorial dedication and remembrance ceremony

On the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a new memorial was dedicated in Princeton at the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad property. Residents, first responders, and several local elected officials attended the dedication and remembrance ceremony. Firefighters Roy James and William Shields were instrumental in creating the permanent memorial in remembrance of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. The steel beam from the World Trade Center was first brought to Princeton from New York in the spring of 2012. (You can read our story about that day and firefighters’ efforts here.)
