Bruce Springsteen performs ‘I’ll See You in My Dreams’ at the 9/11 memorial in New York on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks
Bruce Springsteen performed his song “I’ll See You In My Dreams” in New York City Saturday morning during a ceremony honoring the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
He sang during the ceremony at the 9/11 memorial. All of the names of the victims were read following a moment of silence at 9:03 a.m., which is the time the second plane that was hijacked in the terrorist attacks struck the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Springsteen sang and played the guitar and harmonica at the somber ceremony attended by many people who lost loved ones on 9/11.
The road is long and seeming without end
The days go on, I remember you my friend
And though you’re gone
And my heart’s been emptied it seems
I’ll see you in my dreams
