For the eleventh year in a row, Princeton University has claimed the top spot in U.S. News & World Report’s Best College rankings. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of indicators of excellence.

U.S. News & World Report released its 2022 Best Colleges rankings Monday. The report features 1,466 colleges and universities that grant baccalaureate degrees. It’s the 37th year for the rankings.

Columbia, Harvard, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology all tied for second place, and Yale University was fifth. Williams College ranked No. 1 in the National Liberal Arts Colleges list, followed by Amherst College and Swarthmore College. UCLA took first place among Top Public Universities, followed by the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Michigan.

The College of New Jersey ranked No. 6 in Regional Universities North. The school also ranked seventh in the region for best undergraduate teaching programs and second in the regional ranking for best colleges for veterans.
