No spectators allowed at home athletic events for the Princeton Public Schools due to rise in COVID cases
Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the state, spectators who want to watch athletes compete at home games at public schools in Princeton will have to view the games online.
The Princeton Public Schools Athletic Health and Safety Committee has recommended that the school district refrain from having spectators at home athletic events due to the potential risk of spreading COVID-19. The daily schedule and video link for home competitions can be found online here.
Several high school athletes tested positive for COVID-19 after attending an indoor track meet in Toms River in December.
