About 400 Princeton homes without power after Saturday night storm

After a storm hit the Princeton area on Saturday night, about 400 households were without power, according to PSE&G.

As of 8:45 p.m. on April 1, PSE&G estimated that power would be restored by 2:45 a.m. April 2 in some neighborhoods, and 9:45 a.m. in others.

Neighborhoods experiencing outages included the Mt. Lucas Road area near Hilltop Park, the Cherry Valley Road area, and the Hun School area.

Just under 12,000 PSE&G customers in New Jersey were without power as of 9 p.m. Saturday, while about 19,500 JCP&L customers in the state had no power.

A wind advisory is in effect until 2 a.m. Sunday.

Russell Road in Princeton was closed between both intersections of Winant Road as of 10 p.m. Saturday due to a downed tree.
