Princeton area road closures for Wednesday, June 28
Route 518 continues to be closed from Canal Road to Carroll Place in Franklin Township. The Monday storm took down trees and wires. Plan an alternate route.

About 100 PSE&G customers in Plainsboro are still without power due to the Monday storm. In Ewing, about 25 households are still without power. PSE&G expects power to be restored Wednesday afternoon.
A bridge construction project to replace the Stony Brook Road Bridge over Zippy Creek in Hopewell Township began on June 19 and is expected to take 45 business days, weather permitting. The bridge is closed to traffic throughout the duration of the project. Drivers have been directed to use Lambertville-Hopewell Road, Louellen Street, West Broad Street, and Pennington-Hopewell Road. |
On or about the evening of June 29, the milling and resurfacing of Flock Road (CR 649) and Quakerbridge Road (CR 533) is scheduled to begin as part of the Wawa Development along the Southeast corner of the intersection. Work will be completed in phases, allowing both directions of traffic to be maintained. Construction will be completed overnight and maintain a 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. schedule. The project is scheduled to be completed in five days, weather permitting.
