Sunday traffic update for the Princeton area: Avoid Route 1 South at College Road, Canal Road and the Great Road reopened
Police in Plainsboro have reported that there has been a crash at Route 1 South at College Road. Only one lane of Route 1 South is open. The College Road East entrance ramp to Route 1 is closed. Avoid the area if you can, and expect delays.
The Great Road in Princeton is now open between Stuart Road and the Great Road West. A tree had fallen and was blocking the road.
Canal Road between Old Georgetown Road and Coppermine Road in Franklin Township is now open for travel. A tree that had been blocking the roadway since Saturday was cleared. Editor’s note: Between flooding, downed trees, and structural issues that road certainly has been a headache for commuters and people who live along Canal and Coppermine. How have you been dealing with these issues? Send us an email.
