Tornado Watch in effect for Mercer, Burlington and Hunterdon counties until 11 p.m. Monday

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a tornado watch for the Princeton region. The watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for Mercer, Burlington, Hunterdon, Atlantic, Cape May, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem, and Warren counties. Bucks County, Pa. is also included in the tornado watch area.

A tornado watch means tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area. Review and discuss your emergency plans and check supplies and identify a safe room. Be ready to act quickly if a warning is issued or you suspect a tornado is approaching.
