More than 68,000 households and businesses in N.J. without power as of 11 p.m. Tuesday

More than 34,700 PSE&G customers and more than 33,000 JCP&L customers were without power as of 11 p.m. Tuesday as the storm continued to worsen, causing flooding, high winds and power outages.

In Mercer County, 5,000 PSE&G customers were without power as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, including more than 2,200 households and businesses in West Windsor, more than 1,200 in Princeton, and more than 1,000 customers in Hamilton Township. Almost 600 JCP&L customers in Hopewell were without power.

In Middlesex County, more than 300 PSE&G customers in South Brunswick were without power and more than 700 homes in Cranbury were without power.

In Somerset County, about 900 PSE&G customers in Montgomery were without power, and more than 700 customers in Hillsborough were without power.
