Tuesday evening storm update for the Princeton area
Public works crews have been out trying to remove as much slow and slush as possible from area roads. Salt is being applied to many main roads because there will be a hard freeze tonight.
Police in several towns say road conditions are still dangerous due to ice patches. If you must drive, go slowly and keep a safe driving distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you. Police in Montgomery are urging residents to avoid all unnecessary travel. Conditions are expected to get worse tonight as slush freezes.
In West Windsor, the township reorganization and business meeting is still being held on Tuesday starting at 6:15 p.m. even though the municipal building was closed during the day.
So far trash and recycling schedules have not been revised.
